 Increasing junkmail-spam!

FWIW I've noticed and increase in junkmail/spamming activity for the last week or so now.
Don't know what to make of it,but the coincidence with Comcast's takeover recently, leads me to believe there's a connection. One of the few kudo's I'll grant ATTBI is that they did a swell job of filtering out the junk & spam.
I hope this recent barrage of junk & spam mail isn't an ongoing trend we are to be subjected to gratis Comcast.

Agreed. I've been getting a lot more obvious spam that isn't caught by the Brightmail filter. Anybody know whether Comcast offers spam filtering?

Comcast does indeed offer spam filtering through Brightmail and up until very recently it was really great. I have a couple of addresses that never got any spam at all, either when we were @Home or after the conversion to Comcast. However, it does seem as if something was done in the past week or so because all of a sudden I am getting as much spam a day as I used to get a month. Some people had complained about false positives so maybe they tweaked Brightmail somehow.

OK great. I thought it might have only been me.Gld to see I'm not the only one.
Has ATTBI maybe abandoned filtering their e-mail servers?
Has Comcast taken them over yet?
