Dear Comcast High-Speed Internet Customer
As you may know, AT&T Broadband is now a part of Comcast, a leader in cable TV and broadband services. Over the next couple months, customers who currently receive AT&T Broadband Internet will be moved to Comcast High-Speed Internet. There will be an ample transition period, including email forwarding, discussed in upcoming communications.
Effective with your first bill after March 10, 2003, the price structure for your Comcast High-Speed Internet will change. An explanation of this price change is as follows:
The monthly Internet service fee for customers who subscribe to Comcast High-Speed Internet service and do not subscribe to Comcast cable video service will change from $46.95 to $56.99.
The monthly Internet service fee for customers who subscribe to Comcast High-Speed Internet and any level of Comcast cable video service will remain at $42.95.
Cable modem lease fees will remain at $3 per month and will continue to be charged in addition to the monthly Internet service fee for those customers who do not own their modem.
Our records indicate that you currently subscribe to Comcast High-Speed Internet service but do not subscribe to Comcast Cable or Comcast Digital Cable. We'd like to take this opportunity to introduce our wide range of programming to you. We offer Basic Cable, including local channels, for as low as $4 for your first 4 months of service* all the way to explosive Digital Cable packages, including up to 200 channels, at great prices. Your monthly Internet service fee will also actually be reduced from $46.95 to $42.95 upon ordering any level of cable video service.
