Noob- I check my Comcast email at work every day using OE - and I'm not on their network at all.
Set it up as you usually would and you might find it to work. |

| Well, then thats great to hear. I don't know why their site has false information. As I posted from that FAQ it says they won't. With your word I am comforted, maybe it will stay that way. |

| The FAQ says that Comcast doesn't support off-network SSL connections to their mail servers. It doesn't say you can't make off-network connections at all. (Lawyerspeak in action.)
My guess is, they encourage you to use their website to check email off-network because SSL connections through their web server is no big thing. |

| In that case the FAQ is really confusing, and really doesn't fully answer the question... but whatever, just caused a little false alarm. I'm actually glad it's less trouble to config outlook to check e-mail when off network then as it is w/ ATTBI now. |
