My bad. Let me clarify. Comcast's biological kids on the East Coast mostly are snobs and/or clueless, not all. They get the DCT5100 firmware/software updates months in advance. They have more HDTV channels. They were able to see the Superbowl in HDTV. They're getting the DCT5100s with DVI port installed & enabled. We're being forced to switch our e-mail addy for the 3rd or 4th time. If our username is taken, we need to pick a new one. We can't even reserve it ahead of time. HQ moved to East Coast from Denver. The local office in Everett, WA is seeing a major change in staff. ... the list goes on :o:(:o
Forgive me, but I'm not happy with the recent changes & level of service that coincided with the name change to Comcast. To make matters worse, the SLOWNESS IN MY CORNER OF THE INTERNET has not been resolved. |

| r0bErT4u, my performance took quite a hit during transition too. Jan 22, 2002, my transition day from @home to CHSI, is a date I won't easily forget - it changed my life. I'm a full-time telecommuter who relies *cough cough* on Comcast's network, as I have no other choice for broadband. (I was even turned down for a T1 line AFTER signing a binding contract with Megapath). Comcast has me right where they want me: by the ballz short 'n curlies.
So, no need to ask for forgiveness - I can understand your dissatisfaction and frustration. But I disagree that JUST the former ATTBI subscribers need to stick together. We're all in the same boat, we just arrived at different times.
IMO, there is no "them", there's only "us". |
