iMovie to DVD

Is there a way to make a movie in iMovie then export it and burn it to a DVD on a PC?

You should be able to export the video.
Then on your PC burn it.

Not sure what format you need for the dvd burn. iMovie has these options for exporting.

I want to export to a external hard drive. I am using iMovie 2. When I export the options are camera-iDVD-Quicktime. Will a PC read theiDVD .mov file, or shoul I just export back to camera.

If you want to burn to a dvd on the pc, the best option is to export from iMovie as a DV (digital video)file. This will give the best results although you can also do it using the export for iDVD option. You can then load this file into your pc dvd authoring software and then burn your dvd. Either format should be able to be read as long as you have quicktime on the pc.
