To the original poster,
With most systems, their SMTP servers will NOT permit sending unless you are logged in via their service (or unless you're logged in to their smtp server via some authetnticaton means). This is done to prevent email relaying and spam.
Rereading your post, you say that text only does go thru on all servers..... Have you contacted the malfunctioning providers to inquire if there is a limitation on length or type of attachments supported [remotely].
Sometimes other providers will provide alternate means of SENDING via their servers if you contact them.
Of course sending thru your work's network would work properly because you are logged in to that network.
I have no idea what iphoto is, but if you can provide more information as to what means you use to send pictures to it, perhaps we can be more helpful. |

| Thanks for the help...
The weird thing is that this issue occurs on any server that I try to add an attachment to. For instance, if i log in to my web based Hotmail account and try to send a mail with an attachment the connection times out, same goes for Yahoo! Mail...basically anything that invloves uploading.
DSLReports.com speed test has my upload speed at 3K, I am guessing that this is not right?
Thanks in advance. |
