| Here's the thing, if all the telecoms pushed 3G as the ultimate broadband solution as the wireless answer, it would be great, but we have one small problem.
The network, is not 100% fully ready for multiple high speed connections going on at the same time. All the carriers are tweaking out the network to see what it can handle and as soon as it is cable of fully substaining 144-384k continuously from MULTIPLE connections, then it would be the end of 'last-mile' issues as we know it. The other aspect, is who provides the 'isp' support for such a service? Sure you can get unlimited vision or any other 3G product, but none of them are going to give you 24/7 Internet/Email support and the connections (Unless completely stationary and that's questionable) is ready just yet to handle online gaming. Everyone complains they have to wait forever to speak to CS about a cell issue, imagine trying to call in about a cell issue and an internet issue at the same time.
Overall, the service is almost prime time, not 100% there, but VERY VERY soon. -- Darkflight- PCS Vision- Way of the future. |
