| eMule Settings.......
Been using eMule for a few days now and I haven't yet noticed any real speed increase. Are my settings OK for OOL cable connection?
(Also, when I look at the Wizard, I can't set my Concurrent Downloads to 6-15. It keeps defaulting to 1-5 with my current setup).
Thanks. -- OOL @ 8200/950 |

First off your limits should be higher. you have yourself limited to 12kbps when you can get FAR more then that |

| reply to nynjspeed youre up and down limit is set at 12 you need to raise your download limit or you are only going to download at 12kB/s. If all you want to share is 12kB/s up I suppose that would be allright put wilgods' formula is listed in this link »How to care for your eMULE - 11-28-02 I have included a screen shot of my settings I have advertised speed of 3000/128. a little slow getting this together you already changed it [text was edited by author 2002-11-29 15:38:46] |

| reply to nynjspeed I nice feature in the new v0.23a version is when you right click the emule icon in the taskbar you can adjust the upload/download max speeds. That could be handy if it allows you to change it dynamically, for testing for the best speed combination but you still need to set the correct bandwidth numbers to start with. The DSL reports speed test on the front page here should give you an idea on what numbers to use.
