No Resp. on Pretest requests

I have asked for a pretest twice now and have not had any response. First request was back in August and the second request was in October. I see that a DLS rep reads this thread every once in awhile, please contact me at sid2jynx@hotmail.com. I am right on the current border of your service in McHenry IL, and would like to know if I can get your service as we just had another Wireless provider pop up and will go with them if I can not get any response from DLS. Thank you for any help that you can provide.

I was in the same boat. Never heard anything from them, so instead I just placed an order for the service. They are coming out next week for the install.(Although I am not very optimistic it will work in my neighborhood) In fact, I noticed on the website there is no longer a link to ask for a pre-test. Good Luck, hope you can get it. My friend just got it installed and said it is awesome.

According to an e-mail sent out to all their customers, they are no longer doing pretests. Instead, to speed things along, they are doing the pretest at the same time as the install. They're trying to keep up with the demand for their service. In fact they doubled the number of installs per day a couple of months ago. I had to call them twice just to get a tennative pretest date back in July. I live on the north side of Johnsburg, on the northern fringe of their service area. It ended up taking them over 2 weeks to do the pretest and another 2 weeks to get an install appointment. Just be patient. It's definitely worth it.

Well the DLS reps definately read this message board. They responded to me last night asking what my address was. I reponded with my address and was promptly replied to, stating that they did do a pretest and that I am out of range . Guess I will have to go with Wiresaway.com they just leased space on our towns water towers, and definately have acces to my house.

DLS thank you for the quick response.
