| friend looking for new isp in bakersfield.
A friend of mine is looking for a new isp in bakersfield I've checked his area code and prefix and he can go through newedge, which is good from what I've read. He's looking for low ping and decent speed... Probably an ADSL person, what can you guys here recommend for that.. |

If you want to find out if line-sharing or dedicated line ADSL is available you can get that from our prequal tool which is directly linked to NewEdge.

NewEdge stopped offering dedicated line ADSL last year and line-sharing is not available in all CO's, you may be lucky. We offer dedicated line ADSL (SDSL with an upload cap) in all NewEdge CO's.
Hope that helps

| reply to Lasker He called up and he qualified for 768/768, and he may order... However, I want to verify something. You say he'll be routed through portland oregon, even though he's in bakersfield, just north of los angeles?
I'd like to recommend an isp to him that will get him an insanely low ping (7-12ms to the gateway). [text was edited by author 2002-10-22 09:04:29] |
