Hello all,
I have confirmed that they are indeed throttling Kazaa at its standard port (in/out) in CA. I'm not going to get into how I feel about this, but the cap was indeed rolled out to prevent upstream congestion in CA. You may want to let the markets know how you feel about this. |

Considering all the problems they are having in Sacramento that might actually have been a good idea. I'm not going to lose any sleep over a bunch of warez pirates not being able to get their fix through kazaa. [text was edited by author 2002-08-21 19:51:56] |

| This is bullshit,I pay for broadband and should be able to use it however I feel.
If the system can't handle the high upload fix it!
Go back to 128 cap till it can handle it,but dont just start capping certain programs and sites.
I'm using another file sharing prog right now up'ing near max so "f" att! |

I totally agree and I hope this rout they have chosen in Sacramento stays in Sacramento and is just a temporary solution to cut bandwidth usage until they improve the network. |
