ATTBI is not, nor would we, throttle your connections in the sacramento area. the lines are not dedicated so if there are too many people on a node or if the tv is under high use, your connection will be slower. also the fast track network is not good to test speeds with as it depends on the connection of the other users as well. This is not something that is in our better interest, nor is it in yours .... ATTBI - NOC |

| I dunno. But this post in the security forum said that ATTBI was testing a technology to do this in a couple markets and provides a link to a program that would appear to make this possible.

Bunch - o - idiots. Kaazaa is "theoretically" intended for non-copyright materials. Cars are "theoretically" intended to be driven under the speed limit. Neither one is built to support either theory. America is a great nation and we must break all stupid laws to force our freedoms. |

We already had a few KNOWN ATTBI techs admit they knew about the throttling test...I'll take their word over someone who is anonymous posting from thier college :P |

Is there an alternative to the software from "http-tunnel.com"? cause you have to pay for higher bandwith. Is there any sort of trick to get around this port-block problem? |

you can get kazaa lite and in the preferences, there is an option to change the incoming port.
