Having Problems getting online?

i'm not sure when they will get this info up on the mediacom pages... but this is going to be the new process... if subs get a new computer, or a new nic card they have to go through this process... i thought maybe you could put this under one of the help pages...

If you can not get online please do the following:

if you only have one computer with no router or hub:
open the internet explorer type in: »»https://sas.r21.mchsi.com
1. if it asks you for an acct # & registration code
- this is your acct # on your bill starting with 8383 or 8724
- registration code is the last 12 digits, or 9 digits (try both)
2. follow the instructions on the screen

1A. if it tells you that you are not registered
- click on replace
- submit the default name that the screen gives you

if you have a router:
open the internet explorer
type in: »»https://sas.r21.mchsi.com
1. if it asks you for an acct # & registration code
- this is your acct # on your bill starting with 8383 or 8724
- registration code is the last 12 digits, or 9 digits (try both)
2. follow the instructions on the screen

1A. if it tells you that you are not registered
- click on replace
- submit the default name that the screen gives you

**note you will have to unplugg the router's power cord for approx. 30 secs

if you have a hub:
***you will have to do the following for each computer
***this will only work if you are paying for add. ip's

open the internet explorer
type in: »»https://sas.r21.mchsi.com
1. if it asks you for an acct # & registration code
- this is your acct # on your bill starting with 8383 or 8724

2. follow the instructions on the screen

1A. if it tells you that you are not registered
- click on replace
- submit the default name that the screen gives you

****you must restart your computer with all of these instructions*****

**if you are still having problems, please contact tier 1

If it wasn't for 'C', we'd be using BASI, PASAL and OBOL.
