That's not why TW's going to pick the USB modem. They'll pick that modem because it's easier for non-experts to install. Same with the USB DSL modems that some providers are using. You plug it in and go. The more hardware involved (cable modem and ethernet card), the more points of failure for TW to deal with on the customer service side.
Just because you think you're the most important user, doesn't make it so. Most of TW's cable modem users don't even know what Ethernet is. Stop being paranoid over it. |
