| reply to redxii BS *did* stop new IFITL development. IFITL != DFITL (which is what they are calling the new "card swap for fastaccess without cable tv" systems).
Right now, they're trying to figure out which vendor to use for the cards that will live in the ONU's, since Marconi isn't in that business anymore. Alacatel seems to be their preferred vendor, but everyone knows Ma Bell, this could take a LONG time. -- UNIX is user friendly, it's just a little more picky about who can hang with it! |

| reply to zimrules1 I heard BellSouth is discontinuing IFITL development. I don't know the full story on that but I think they are trying to find some other way to utilize the fiber in their 9 state areas for internet.
