Linksys Setup Instructions for OS X

Can anybody point me to step by step instructions for setting up my new Linksys BEFSR41 to work with my new G4 which is running OS X. Mainly trying to share a DSL line. Pretty sure I have a Dynamic IP address. Do I need to update the firmware? Don't really know what I'm doing. The manual is written for Windows, and the link on Linksys's site to MacWorlds translation isn't helping much. I'm also new to OS X, so am kind of lost.

Any remedial advise?

I just plugged it in and it worked. Most of the recent firmware upgrades are for accommodating PeeCee firewall software, so if it ain't broke don't fix it.

setup is the "same as windows" in that the setup webpage for the router is exactly the same no matter what OS you are using...

Just go to »192.168.1.1 once you have it all hooked up and follow the manual if you need to set it for your isp (if neccessary, may not be needed depending on how you connect to your dsl service)

The default password is "admin" and leave the username space blank... to get in the config page.

Yeah I tried all that. First couple times that got me to the configuration window, but when I hit "Apply" it asked for my password again, and would accept it. After that the browser kept telling me it couldn't connect to the router at all. Tried resetting it too. Maybe I'll try again in the morning.

when you reset it make sure you stick the paperclip in and hold it for about 10 seconds, the lights will flash on the front after about 5 seconds but that does not completely reset it, it will flash again at 10 seconds and you should be all reset...
