"Other" - each machine has it's own OS and purpose.
My linux machines only get booted using a dos disk if they need a special program to set up the hardware.
-----------------------------------------------
But the loader of choice is lilo.:)

LILO, but only on my laptop. Each of my other machines is dedicated to a particular OS, for a particular use.

I've used GRUB in the past and find it highly useful, but don't use it now as LILO's installed and GRUB is somewhat of a pain to install (as I remember).

I presume that "Windows Built in Booter" means the NT OS Loader....

I have used GRUB now and then, but I like editing the lilo.conf and #lilo instead.

I can't think of anything catchy to put here, so I'll just leave it blank.

Dual boot? Oh, you mean when I have a second kernel to boot. I usually just bzdisk it and boot the floppy. Better than messing with LILO.

I use GRUB, but I wouldn't mind using Lilo again

I can't remember, I never have to reboot

LILO for me, more support and easier to configure in my experience.

Failure is not an option. It comes standard with every Windows installation

Other, I use a floppy to boot Linux, because I haven't been able to get Linux and Win2k to play nice together.

I've got Win2k and Linux working just fine on a dual boot system. The thing that I've found is that you must install Win2k first... then install Linux. Lilo handles it just fine.

Win2k was installed first, then Linux. Windows then proceeded to freak out and wouldn't run. I ended up having to completely reinstall Windows and put Linux on a separate drive.

I use XOSL as a boot manager, and LILO as a boot loader on my linux partitions.
