 Anon | Cinenet stinks
I was a past Cinenet customer since the summer of 1999. Everything went well for about 3 or 4 months before I lost connection to DHCP server inexplicably. This happened to me at least 4 times and every time when I try calling them, it happens not to be during their normal work hours of 9-5 M-F. However, when someone does decide to answer the phone, it's usually the same guy who can't speak English well enough and struggles to find words. And even after all that struggling, what he says makes absolutely no sense at all. Horrible customer support. Another thing I noticed is that their ping is always 150+, if not higher. ALL THE TIME. For me, I play ping sensitive games, and I noticed this a lot. I guess many of their customers don't play games or they'd upgrade their servers. Anyways, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for an ISP, if not dumping GTE altogether and getting what I have now....Covad. |
