 | [WIN7] OEM license question with machines I have two identical OEM machines with win 7 pre installed.
One has home premium, and the other ultimate. The builds are the same.
One died. If I put the drive into the other machine, will Windows still maintain the OEM activation or is it version specific? |

 | The two machines are identical. One had the version upgraded to ultimate on purchase. Both use the OEM activation method rather than a key. |

Remaining within Microsoft's EULA boundaries is a different question. |
