I blame this on their Horrible service and limited coverage. Also once again it proves low price is NOT what consumers will take. Sprint continues to bleed and so does T-Mo.

TMO does NOT want the rural areas. If they did they would have covered those LONG ago. CellCo only has those areas due to mergers and buy outs. Sprint is the only one that really built anything in the rural areas and 360Communications (before Alltel and some of what is still Alltel).

Hell Sprint has even shut off a few of those markets and turned them into "roaming networks.

And actually people do want lower plans. Look at prepaid; their adding customers left and right- and contract customers are actually DOWN over all compared to prepaid and lower priced services. Sprint keeps bleeding due to their $$$ issues. They'll never get that under control if they don't stop spending on things that won't help them now.
