| Issues with Ubee Modem 3201b I have been having issues with my ubee for a few days now. Last night It got bad. I think the battery might be overheating because you can actually feel a heat blast coming out of it when you are next to it. I just noticed recently while playing Xbox since I sit in front of my desk right next to the modem. I check the temp on the modem url and shows fine(by fine I mean what it showed normally about 92F) does not show a depleted battery or overheating or something. While this happens the modem will remain on with all the lights on, but no connectivity but It will regain connectivity within a minute or so. Could this be a bad battery or the modem going bad? If it is can I have it tested or replaced at a BHN location?

kudos:86 | Please open a direct thread and include your modem mac or IP so I can take a quick look. I will also check the battery status from here. Honestly they do run a bit warm so the heat aspect doesn't bother me too much but lets take a look. |

| Not at home right now. But I will open a new thread during the day if I can. Yeah, the run a bit hot I noticed that from the beginning, but last night was unusually hot. Felt like an old AMD processor hot. |
