So far, I am loving season 2, but have a few gripes.
-Daenerys needs to STFU already. Repeating "I am Daenerys Stormborn, Mother of Dragons, of the old blood of Vaeleria, and I will take what is mine BLA BLA BLA" over and over and over. She has NOTHING. No army, no ships, no money. Just a rockin' body. She wasn't even smart enough to have her most prized possession be guarded. I liked her in season 1, but all she seems to be doing this season is wander off and babble like a child.
-Theon Greyjoy is a cunt. And it's sad that the actor that portrays him is one of the least talented of the cast because it makes it worse.
Now, onto the positive (mostly about episode 6 of last night):
-Tyrion bitchslapping Joffrey was absolute gold. I actually cheered.
-Snow's storyline is finally getting interested. Laughed my ass off at the spooning scene.
-Brandan is awesome.
-Tywin and Arya's scenes together are by far, some of the strongest acting material we've seen so far on the show. That little girl can act her ass off and Tywin seemed to genuinely respect Arya.
-The Hound is also awesome.
-I like Robb a lot. He's the only adult character which hasn't annoyed me even once so far.
-We saw Thonk get naked. Killer body.
That's about it for now. |

Right now Arya is my favorite right up there with Daenerys
she's like a little spy being so careful to hide who she is while plotting to help Rob and/or get outa there. |

Shameless plot to attract that target audience? What is this, true blood?
Usually GOT isn't bad with these things. Even the sex scenes are there because they add something to the story (Gotta love spartacus though). The gay scene with the brother in law added nothing to the story and was unnecessary since it wasn't in the books.
Unless ofcourse my friend and someone correct me.

He actually writes it in a manner that implies he may be but doesn't actually say he is in the book, there are other differences but they are subtle changes. |

Just doing spoilers in case I go too far.
@alcohol: Renly was clearly gay in the books. Implied yes, but strongly. No sex scenes. That's for the idiots who watch (too many fucking sex scenes. There's so few, if any, in the books. Fuck you, Littlefinger, and your screen time stealing brothel scenes).
@tiger: The last episode makes me want to tear my hair out. Dany does not act like that. What, did a teenager write that little speech of hers on the steps? Made me feel ashamed for her.
Too many discrepancies in the last episode from the books. Sure, I understand some characters need left out, we need to consolidate the gods so people can keep up. I get that. But changing plot devices on a whim?
No Reeds? If they don't show up soon, I'm going to personally bitch slap Martin for allowing their exclusion.
The end of the most recent episode is pure bullshit. None of it happened in the books. There's so much plot, why make shit up?! If next week's episode follows suit, Martin's getting a fronthander with the bitch slap. Plot device to get her to the House of the Undying my ass.
Lastly, Sandor is the fucking man. Love Arya. Tywin is perfect. Theon can't act his way out of a paper bag, but at least it took a few swings to behead Cassel.

And I agree, I was looking forward to the appearance of Meera and Jojen of House Reed, which should have happened by now, and will be very disappointed if they were cut out.
In the books they are so intertwined with what happens to Bran from this point onward.
