 | Cogeco Usage vs Netlimiter 3 Very Different I've been on Cogeco Turbo 14 since October and I've always used Netlimiter3 to monitor my bandwidth usage. Until February Netlimiter and Cogeco usage meter were fairly consistent in GB/month, no big discrepancies. However I just received the February bill and while Netlimiter shows 76GB for the month Cogeco shows 93GB, charging me an extra $20 for overage fees. I decided to check how March was going and Netlimiter shows 67GB while Cogeco shows 75GB.
Is there anything I can do here? Has anyone else run into this issue over February and March? This is really upsetting, I don't understand how this has happened.
Thank you. |

| reply to Mr_Jay I had the same thing happen to me. Same usage, roughly, until February where I was magically 80GBs more on their end. Result was a phone call to tech support, billing wouldn't remove the charge, I filed a complaint with the Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunications Services and cancelled all my Cogeco services.
PS: I had a call from Cogeco today to discuss my complaint, I was out so it will have to wait until tomorrow. |

| Are you using this Netlimiter app on both systems?
You should look into putting Tomato custom firmware on your router, so you can clearly see what everything is using, including possible freeloaders in your neighbourhood.
Using tomato, you can get monthly bandwidth usage charts like this - »www.polarcloud.com/img/ssbwm100.png |
