Wow, I had my money on Jacksonville. Im a Giant fan so it should be an exciting time in NYC over the coming months.

Wow, and I thought the Jets had Soap Opera Drama last year. With Jeremy Lin and Tebow there are now two parts of the Holy Trinity in the Big Apple.

It shouldn't be too bad.
Rex is more of a Defensive-minded guy.
The Offense is usually left up to the OC, who was the guy who brought the Wildcat to Miami.

The press conferences should be good though.

So I guess their plan atm is to have Teebow come in for the wildcat formations and other trick plays. However the first game where Sanchez runs into passing problems you will start hearing the "Teebow" chants from the crowd. Its not a matter of if but when..

When? First game. Sancez doesn't really pass all that well.

I don't see Tebow as any threat to Sanchez, who is a better QB, at the moment than Tebow. He's a top 5 pick, with a contract extension and a far better throwing technique. However, Sanchez is a sensitive quarterback. Now Tebow, the most popular sports figure in the U.S., could ultimately win the minds and hearts of the New York Jets. Tony Sparano could attempt to create Wildcat formations for Tebow. His role in John Fox's scheme led to a division title and a playoff win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. If Sanchez struggles in any games this upcoming season, and he will, Ryan won't be afraid to bench the four-year veteran.

Tebow's not a threat to any starter in skill but it's the media and the fans and Tebow's personality that will divide the team, locker room, and fan base. That's a guarantee.

According to Adam Schefter its on hold as they are trying to work out the contract with Tebow.Tebow really wanted to go to Jacksonville.Let the circus begin.

I'm heavily confuzzled by this move. Is picking up Tebow insurance for when Sanchez shits the bed? If you had that little confidence in Sanchez, then why did you JUST give him a huge contract extension and proclaim him the QB of the future in NY? Not only give him an extension, but give him an extension to cheer him up after he was pouty over the pursuit of Peyton Manning by the Jets? THE Mark Sanchez who cried after a practice in which his backup took TWO snaps from centre?

How does this move make the Jets a better team? Has Dirty booked himself extra hours with the team Psychologist now?

Does Joe Namath take young Mr. Tebow out for a night on the town to introduce him to the Big Apple?

This is very weird. It tells me the Jets really weren't comfortable with Sanchez being THE guy in New York. I simply don't get this move.

Jets balking at paying a five million dollar surcharge to the Broncos required by a clause in Tebow's contract. If they back out, ESPN is reporting that the Rams are in the mix now. Wouldn't you think they'd work this kind of stuff out before they announced a done deal?

It makes no sense at all. I applaud them for acquiring a potential starter has the 2nd stringer, but why is really the question.

Sanchez is going to get pushed into a dark corner when Tebowmania comes go town, unless the Jets do shut it down.
