said by Phibian:Both modems (Zyxel and cellpipe) were in the same location. Zyxel has no problems at all. No reboots, no loss of sync. Cellpipe has both issues. In my case I'm extremely close to the demarc point. Maybe 10ft of cable (which is nice and new). Line stats are excellent as well.
Given that the Zyxel works fine I'm blaming the cellpipe not the wiring.
Yeah but you have the dreaded crappy firmware for the Cellpipe. Perhaps sync issues are another problem with this crappy firmware.
Mind you, while my Cellpipe is fine close to the demarc, as I mentioned it isn't as good far away. I wonder how the ZyXel would do in my home office.
How much is the ZyXel?

Comes to just under $160 shipped from an Ottawa retailer (»www.shoprbc.com/ca/shop/product_···id=80230) for the device that (should) work with 7330 and does NOT have WiFi. |

Make sure you get the proper version for your remote.
P870HW51AV2 work on the 7330 remote,
P870H51AV2 without the wifi;
The P870MI1V2 is Ikanos,
P870MI1V2 on Ikanos Stinger. |
