Re: [Info] Coming soon to clock near you Daylight savings time was, until a few years ago, always on the first Sunday in April. Over the last few years it has been advanced, week by week, until 3 weeks earlier this year. It was two weeks earlier last year. Does anyone know why? -- If you won't stand behind our troops... Longer hours of daylight equates to less need for lighting.....in theory saving energy. -- Just cause you got the monkey off your back doesn't mean the circus has left town. Maybe it makes sense at some latitudes. but here it just means it's gonna be dark when I get up in the morning next week, so I'll need to turn the lights on .... -- Jamais le mal naura le dernier mot. | reply to Icarus I see, this is supposed to be part of "The Energy Independance and Security Act?" Well it seems to me that the more energy that I save the more the Utility Company crys poverty! In the end they have achieved increases on our energy bills in the form of "adjustments" such that we are paying more per month now than we were paying years ago while using much more energy; Even though we are using less energy. -- If you won't stand behind our troops...
