Great answer!!! However, nobody can provide any reason why the incumbents are spending $$$ to lobby against these efforts. Let's face it, the norm is lack of competition. When there is competition, there is collusion. When competition finally emerges we have lobbying. This is a fundamental attack on our capitalist society. So are CEOs making mad money for pleasing investors with supermad money and creating stipulations and contracts that treat the average consumer as if he were a criminal and an idiot. Wake up, BRO, your perception of freedom is just that, a perception.

Sorry, the voters can't upend the Constitution without an amendment and assent from 38 states.

But that would be a means to provoke a challenge in court.
