[Hockey] Official 2012 NHL Trade Centre

Rather than litter up a few other threads, lets keep the NHL trades, signings, etc to this thread.

Have at it.

From TSN

The Maple Leafs abundance of defencemen makes the team popular with clubs looking for blueline help. According to Dreger, Jake Gardiner is unavailable, and the only way that Luke Schenn would be moved is if the Leafs were made an offer they couldn't refuse. Carl Gunnarsson, Cody Franson and Keith Aulie are also generating interest.

Any news about Armstrong and Komi?

If the Leafs have so many good D-men why is the teams Goals
Against the 28th worse out of 30 teams????

From the Leafs games I've seen it isn't all Reimer and Gus' fault.

You are funny. Putting Good D-men and worst GAA in same sentence. How good, I mean how slow they are is evident when Canucks toyed with leafs.

Whoa...Jack Johnson. That's gotta humble him a little. Hopefully.

i think that is a great trade for Columbus...i'm actually surprised they were able to unload that contract...10 years (beyond this season) and injury prone...it wreaks of DiPietro.

Yeah man this move reeks of desperation from Lombardi, though I think he has another move up his sleeve yet.

Sens GM interviewed after 1st period. Tells fans to "tune in" for trade deadline... Whatever the hell that means

It means, "As a member of the NHL Board of Directors, please drive up TSN ratings for NHL hockey so we can demand top dollar in the next TV negotiations."

The only other 'movement' that happened in the past couple days was Darryl Boyce that Columbus picked up off waivers from Toronto.

Which isn't really a trade...

Which brings me to the huge coverage of trade deadline day... Im watching Sportsnet via my slingbox at work, and they've been on the air since 8am... Isn't that a bit nuts?

I think in years past it was since noon, which is a bit more understandable... 8am is stupid, and they've had exactly 1 trade until now.
