WOAH!

Usually executives get more money after failures. Stuff like this only happens in Japan. Could this mean a change of business at at&t?

What is the difference between $22 mil and $25 mil to them. Now, everyone is thinking the board is acting responsible. The CEO should have not been compensated for the failed merger.

AT&T is in a better position now than prior to its acquisition announcement. Why should there be no compensation?

This isn't even a screw up. AT&T is better positioned now than before the acquisition announcement. I'm surprised bigger bonuses weren't handed out.
