I now see that on my DCT6412. It seems to happen the FIRST time you end up scrolling to the right after the FIRST up-arrow that causes a vertical scroll. Even then, it's a bit iffy. It did a few times just now when testing, but then stopped doing it.

The guide takes me to a listing for VH1 or ION most of the time, but that would vary by region.

Maybe they will fix this quicker than the Comcast-TIVO box comes out (only to be cancelled).
