A bit misleading I think. Ultra TV costs $25 for the gateway and two players. Perhaps someone can eliminate other services such as a DVR (or two) when they move to Ultra TV. But if adding it straight up, it costs $25.
What did you get to remove that equaled $25? |

| I am still shocked that a company will introduce a new service but not keep any discounts for loyal customers. My bill will be $40 more with ultra TV. DirecTV with no discount is less than this. Incredible. |

| I agree. If you have the same service, assuming you keep your same TV package, and internet speeds, why would you lose "service" discounts for changing equipment. You can swap to DVR, just plain box, nothing and back and equipment charges are seperate and don't effect your bill other than the price of that equipment. I don't know why this would be different. It is just equipment, and that is how it should be billed. |

| I agree again. Charging an upgrade fee, install charge, etc.. Is punishing the customer for wanting to stay with a company as it grows. ATT wireless just doubled there cell phone upgrade fee, its insane to charge a customer for wanting to stay. It happens in every industry sadly. |

You know, everyone complaining about losing their discounts has the option not to upgrade. Just as it bothers me to hear about deep discounts for new customers, I'm not crazy about these discounts for 'loyal customers.' How about we all pay the same amount for the same service? |

Park Ridge, IL | Just got Ultra TV installed Saturday. Loving it so far. Does anyone know why CBS, ABC, and FOX are not "On Demand"? Wow_Dan will this be updated in the future? I haven't even delved into the computer connectivity yet.
If you want to watch live TV from one room to another, just hit record before you leave the room. Then pause it. Then start playing again in the other room. When you get to a commercial, hit live TV. |

Right now, we do not have any VOD content from those providers. I do not know if/when we will to an agreement with these channels to provide their content on demand. |
