expectations are the same from both US and canadian servers, but the the servers earn much less in hrly wages than canadian servers do....
there are places in usa where they work for tips only, the establishments are that busy and the boss got greedy.... |

| that discussion has been ongoing for years among the servers but they never took a stand......first the boss got in on the gravy train, then the tax man got in on it and rather than paying the staff wages, the boss continues to peddle it on to the patron....the tax man is happy as long as they get their share, the boss man is happy as long as they don't have to pay out the servers minimum or any wage at all plus other assistant staff... |
