So if you're saying if ING sends out a check his account can't cover there is no overdraft fees? If I have to put off a snail mail bill for a few days until my account has enough cash to cover the check where is the problem? Most banks worth a damn will cover checks when your balance drops below $0 via another account like say a 'main' account you don't touch for whatever stupid reason you want to gimp your checking account and possibly cause it to bounce stuff.

I have a checking account in one bank and Cd's (I am starting to move them into the Money Market account) and Money Market account in another!
My checking is with Wells Fargo, I would never leave my other money with them as they have the lowest rates around here! |

This type of stuff drive me nuts being a finance person with all the hodgepodge and waffling happening in your financial life. Hopefully it works for you and continues to work. Eventually you might want to apply the KISS methodology to it.

join:2009-09-11 | Hodgepodging and waffling works fine for me, as I am sure I have more money in savings then most here!
I do dabble in stocks too, right now am waiting for a stock I like to drop a bit more before buying!
Only way to handle your money is your own way so you have no one to blame for mistakes made but yourself!
Mailing 3-4 checks a month is not going to make or break me!
I like going out to the mailbox and to the store once a year to buy a $4 box of envolopes! |

And I'm one who enjoys being able to type up & send a check from behind the desk. I get to skip stationary, plus a typed bank-issued check ensures there's no confusion as to who/what I wrote the check for. |

Well actually I lied a bit, out here I rarely ever go inside the Post Office except to mail a package once in a while, I buy my stamps at our grocery store and we have drive-thru mail-boxes!
Plus I have good penmanship so there is never a problem with anyone reading what I wrote!

She gets together with other WoW players from time to time and the chicks she plays with are hot! If money makes any difference then WoW chicks are a cheap date. Get them some hot pockets and mountain dew and you've got a date where it ends with a bang.
