Re: Anyone still here remember direcPC one-way.. Oh the good ol' I still have the old grey dish in the backyard with a pile of other junk. I couldn't bring myself to throw out the dish. Was thinking of using it as a modded WiFi dish.
My memories of Direcpc were pretty bad. When it works, it was nice. The Fair Access Policy sucked. Acquiring a signal was difficult (I live in Maine). Required minute adjustments of the dish or else no connection. I think I started out with the ISA adapter, then they upgraded me to the PCI adapter. After awhile I was sent a new PCI adapter. |
