| AT&T WIFI Coverage Sucks ATT seems to put their WIFI in very few and select places of business. As I roam about the city here, I see loads of optimumwifi, timewarnerwifi and xfinitywifi hotspots. They are almost ubiquitous. I never see AT&T except rarely, and then only while having a coffee somewhere.
MY GF signed up my netbook to her optimumwifi access, and it works fast and reliable almost everywhere in the City. I have yet to use my AT&T wifi "privilages".
Sometimes optimumwifi speeds out run my Verizon DSL:
