| [Rant] Yahoo Mail I have a @yahoo.com e-mail account. Had it about 10 years. I use is mostly as a junk account when I don't want to give out my real e-mail address. I get things like order confirmations, message board post alerts, advertisements, etc. So it gets regularly used for receiving things, not so much sending things.
For about the past month I've been getting constant "Error 1" messages:
Sorry for the inconvenience.
You've stumbled upon an unexpected, temporary problem. Performing your action again in a few moments will likely resolve the problem completely. If not, we suggest you try re-launching Yahoo! Mail.
If the problem persists, feel free to contact Customer Care about Error Code 1.
Thanks,
The Yahoo! Mail Team
It hasn't exactly been temporary. I have to click on messages or links 3-4 times before they are opened. I tried different browsers, computers, connections, all the same. Even yahoo on my android phone doesn't work right.
E-mailed yahoo support. I hear back the issue has been resolved....nope. Reply, Issue resolved again...nope again. And again, and again. Finally is escalated to an engineer, they say they fix it, nope. Reply back again. Week later, I hear back, finally things are working right...for a while. The issue is now back again.
So for a tally: didn't work right for 2 1/2 weeks, worked right for a week, now down again. At least I'm not paying for this. -- This Space for Rent... |

 | reply to nightdesigns I've got dozens of Yahoo email accounts, some of them going back as far as yours. Never seen that error message or any other that I can think of. As already mentioned, try another browser. Sheesh, you're as bad as the people at the Mozilla forum. I keep reminding them "Whaddayawantfornuthin"! |

I never had those errors when using the "classic" interface. Try switching to the classic interface and see if you have the same results. |
