Madera, CA | 15 mins upload limit (Youtube) So now you can upload videos to youtube that is as long as 15 mins, before it was 10 mins. Does anyone know if this is going to be permanent or will it go back to 10 mins?, I ask this before I start making videos in the near future. |

am looking at mine right now and not noticing a time limit on the upload page anymore. my other account shows the 15 minutes but not my one from youtube's launch. hm must contact them I think |

Youtube is nice but facebook host more and allows more time. I cant upload any of my vids to youtube unless i split them...I only want my friends to see my vids so i guess facebook works out well.. |

Re: 15 mins upload limit (Youtube) The reason I ask is because I normally don't upload videos from my camcorder until several months later, so I'm planning on filming at least 10 mins and I want to make sure I can still do that months from now. |

Even at 10 min a lot of horribly boring stuff that would have been tolerable edited and could be strung together...but imagine an hour of that... would be like being invited to the neighbors to sit through their wildly flailing and shots of the sidewalk raw vacation footage.

Youtube doesn't care how boring or terribly edited videos are now, they'll never care.
They started out with shorter time limits and terrible quality. Now the time is increased and the quality is 1080p.
Time length and quality will only continue to increase. |

kudos:22 | There are also videos that I've seen that last for days on end (There is one that is a counter that is some 70 hours long). Those videos of course were hexed, but I'm wondering if YouTube also patched that. |
