If apple and the iPhone wasn't an "industry leader" then why is everyone out to release the next attempt at "the iPhone killer"...?
Some of you people let your drive to hate iPhone over rule your sense of reality. I think everyone knows that there is no such thing as a perfect device of anything. So even for Steve Jobs to say, think about, or imply that their products are perfect, is laughable. For anyone else where to HOLD apple to that standard too is laughable.. and quite honestly, I'm guessing that an overwhelming majority of people ranting in this forum on this topic about the iPhone 4 and it's problems 1) don't own an iPhone, 2) don't ever plan on owning an iPhone.. 3) never experienced any issues directly to be able to say they know for sure other than some crap they read on the web.
Get off your bandwagons... find something productive to do with your lives and go buy what ever phone makes you happy.. others will buy what phones make them happy.. spend less time worrying about what someone else does or doesn't do and realize that the world will be a much better place for yourself.
It's ironic how many people come in here bashing apple and their products for what ever reason when it's clear they will never buy one themselves. (And spare me the "if they opened up.. " or "if they did it my way I'd buy one" crap.. you won't! stop fooling yourselves with that notion.. because you won't!)
Further, for all you/those people that don't like apple and love to come and bash anyone that has an apple anything, and then call them fanboys and sheep, etc. .and talk about how stupid they are, when are you going to wake up and put this fact and the one above together and realize that you're trying to use "fanboy" as a negative when your own actions make you that very thing you're throwing at apple customers..
You are the WORST "fanboys" of them all because you can't realize that it's nothing more than 6th grade summer camp BS being flung across the lake at the other camp... let it go, grow up, and who cares.
In the 300+ comments of this topic alone, most of them have been at people being stupid for buying them.. ... .. and???? Who cares? This is America.. everyone has a right to do what they please.. and people have a right to make choices, good or bad... who are you to try to change that or even point it out.. quite frankly..? .. I look at a lot of things people do here and think "what douchbags you are for doing X..." but my life goes on.. I, however, draw the line when YOUR views and opinions are trying to be forced on to me and my lifestyle in a way that you're trying to change MY life to suit your needs.
Think about this.. and really.. who cares.. it's an iPhone and if you're not buying one.. um.. who's the fool for spending and wasting days on end bitching about it.. you're never going to buy one anyway..
LOL your whole post made me laugh especially the very end considering I own an original Iphone(since original launch date in 2007) and just got an Iphone 4 in for work so we can conduct testing of the device, so please keep going on about things you have no idea about. You know what they say about people who assume things.
