Re: Satellite Packetloss

I dont know of any way to access the modem configuration page. It has no software installed on my computer as well as nobody can seem to give me a way to access it through my brower. I have tried accessing its IPaddress but that has not worked, do you know a way? Thanks

Not every modem has a web interface. My iDirect 3100 doesn't, for example. I typically get into it by telnet, and you have to know the password. If you open a telnet session to yours do you get at least a prompt?

Do you have an iCON modem? The ipStar site says for that one: Web-based graphical user interface (GUI)

This is how to access an IPSTAR Modem:

»192.168.5.100:8080/xWebGateway.cgi
and looks like see attachment NB: ONLY WORKS WITH Internet Explorer!!!!!

As to changing stuff, be careful. You will also need the login and password, the defaults for which can be found on the net.
