Re: [Rant] Credit card activation said by Bobcat79:Say what you want about Capital One, but the fact is that they have lower interest rates and better balance transfer deals then either my Chase or Citi cards. Capital One's customer service is lousy, however. Lower interest rate, only for twelve months, then it goes up to the highest amount allowed. |

Weird, my Capital One gives me air miles and an interest rate of 9.99%. It's been that rate since I got the card about 2.5 years ago, except for when they send me 0% balance transfer offers. To each his own, I guess.
Edit: Not that I ever carry a balance on it..I use the card for the miles and rewards only, so the interest rate for any credit card is always a moot point to me. -- The one, the only, the Insder. :: Fighting phishing for life. |

 | reply to gregz My Capital One card's interest rate is 9.99%. It was below 2% when it was tied to the LIBOR rate, then they changed it. Still lower than Chase or Citi. |

The No Hassle Miles card gives you miles or can translate miles to dollars if you so wish. I'm too lazy to switch to the Cash Rewards card because I think I lose all of my miles if I swap. -- The one, the only, the Insder. :: Fighting phishing for life. |

 | I could care less about the miles, since we never fly anywhere, that cannot be reached by car. |
