|  Linksys released buggy 1.4.3 firmware for BEFW11S4
I would not recommend upgrading to this firmware if you use the WAP or have to set a static IP address. There have been bugs found in this release that where not in the USA beta for this firmware. Either stick with the 1.40.3 USA beta or the 1.39.2.

| Heck I went out to Linksys today (Feb 8th) and grabbed the new BEFW11S4 firmware file that was dated 2-8-2002 at 6:30pm... and the file is the old 1.39.2 firmware...
What gives? Did they put it out and then yank it due to massive bugs??

Also does anyone have CONCRETE data on the difference between the v2 BEFW11S4, and the WPC11 v2.5 cards over the originals that I have... or are they too new? |

I flashed 1.42.3 and found tracert, NeoTrace and several other utilities would not work correctly no matter how I tweaked setup. I returned to 1.40.2 and everything is okay again. A-yup, there must be some bugs in the last release. (I just hate doing beta testing when I don't know I'm doing beta testing.) |

Linksys has asked that we remove the link to 1.4.3 (BEFW11S4) due to the many problems encountered. They are working on a fix. |
