Wow, a 120-acre data center for collection of data and just to power the beast it will take 65MW but the real question is what kind of information will our government be collecting.

That's enough to power 100,000 or so homes. That's serious power to feed serious equipment. I think Cudni was right when they said "All of it".

Anyone know if this will this be underground? I wouldn't think they would build something of this nature above ground..but putting it underground would cost some major bucks for 120acres of space.

You'd think so, and is probably going to be used by the military as well for the cyber warfare project. I would imagine they'd want it safe from a nuclear strike as well.

So a tree branch falling on a power line can now knock out two corridors not just one. Or if this data center has a real problem it can knock down two corridors.

Also what about internet is Salt lake connected or will all my ping times increase playing games on the net. Plus will my VOIP phone now have an echo again with latency.

So they know my TV habits. No more 24 hour porn now that I am married and have a child. Now its Dora the Explorer and Wow Wow Wuzzby. Now if they can predict if my wife is running with or without horns on a certain day that would be something.
Unless you live your life underground or hide who you really are people see you. For instance two employees at my work. One was arrested for violence another child molestation. Ok, large company lots of workers.
The violent one we say his personality and adjusted for it. The child one well no proof but he talked odd and well no real friendly coworkers. Without any monitoring or data track we saw who they are.
Any coworker my friends or anyone who cares that talks to me has a decent idea who I am and what I think. Even when I am not thinking and boring as a door knob.
Only thing data tracking does for me is make sure I do not put anything in writing I do not want in writing.
What is dangerous is th thought pattern reinforced by it. Oh so and so thinks this way now we have proof. Jail or mental hospital for them with no crime committed yet. We have it thru data mining. It is a crime now. Well before you knew the person and had to wait for the crime. Know we have proof how they think in data. Not just how they act or what they say.
Then we allow or get whipped into allowing government to decide what thinking is right and what is wrong. My thinking is still good never will happen to me. They are bad thinkers and the government has the data to prove it. The say the sky is blue when the government and I know it is yellow. I think right like my government says they think wrong. I would never think wrong. There are just too many that can not think for themselves. Then others who do think but still just do as they are told. They take the easy road.
