Looks like a permissions issue. Try starting the client with Runas administrator. You should be ok with file permissions where you installed it, if you are running with an account which has administrative privileges. If not, you would also need to give your account full permissions to that folder.
Since you are running as a service, I'll do some digging to see if I can find a FAQ to help. I never run as a service, so don't know off the top of my head.
Perhaps somebody else will chime in with help on that.

| Thanks, sorto...it is on a system which requires administrator privileges and I'll try what you say. Maybe if I'd been logged in as admin when I installed it this wouldn't have happened.
Thanks for the link....will check it out.
Right now I'm kind of bummed because I just spent hours repairing XP and installing service packs, all without fixing a problem I have with uploading files. No matter the site, no matter the 3rd party program, as soon as I click to browse for a file to upload, attach or download, my browser (or other program) crashes down. Found out other people have had this problem and installing XP SP3 fixed it for them but I'm not so lucky. Anyway....not a problem for this forum, just had to grouse a little.    |

| I totally understand. There was a day when mostly all I did with computers is poke around learning about them, breaking them and fixing them, reading gargantuan manuals 'n such. These days, I want them to just work and let me do stuff.
