Scavenger hunt #123 -- July 1 through July 15, 2009

Thanks to Coma See Profile for choosing my submission. Credit, of course, goes to Momma tailfeather, so named because she only has one little piece of a tail feather. She's a busy one, feeding five babies!

For the next Scavenger Hunt the subject will be;

A Summer Pastime

Timeframe for photos is from July 1 through July 15 inclusive.

The usual Scavenger Hunt rules apply:

•Photos must be taken during the hunt time frame. No archived photos allowed.

•You may post as many entries as you wish.

•The person starting the hunt chooses the most creative photo and then passes the torch to the winner.

•The winner will host the next hunt.

•This hunt runs through July 15, 2009 11:59 PM EDT.

•And the most important rule is: "Good luck and have fun!"

OT, Happy Canada Day to our Canadian friends and members!

As this is probably the BEST fireworks picture I have ever taken, I just had to use it for this scavenger hunt.

Nothing done to it either, taken exactly like that....

I saw this elsewhere on the site and thought it'd be an excellent entry!

BTW, your <small> tag is not closed correctly.

Well, we had a small group with excellent pictures! After deliberation, I choose aprilfooish See Profile's captures - Ain't nothin like a big ol' ice cream cone after a walk in the summer woods.

And, of course, thanks Maccawolf See Profile, krazyboi See Profile, ddevelduck and Brainless See Profile for your summer fun photos!

EDIT - added - a big thanks to usa2k See Profile and my apology for not including you in my list!

My excuse is that it was late, but probably more likely a senior moment
