1 edit | Just looks like it's rearranged a bit. There is some more customization you can do now, sort of like the previous version. You can also change between 3 different color schemes.
I didn't get any mail, but it just tried it, and it is the new format. That said, I rarely use the page, so I don't know when it actually changed.
The mail check is still goofy. It says I have 8 new mails, but there are actually none as I don't read it on-line but use Thunderbird. |

| reply to pokesph Yep! Comcast updates their net interface page, hoping that their customers (most of whom do not ever read this page!) will fail to realize that Comcast is very slow at updating their internet up/down speeds, and is actively denying Netflix streaming when there is "congestion". Not that Comcast is re-investing their profits on our backs in eliminating "congestion".
Comcast is what it is, and nothing it can do with a new web interface will counter Comcast's poisonous corporate culture. |

I hope this isn't the entry into Comcast using Yahoo services like so many other ISPs have done.. |

On the old one in the top left it said "Get Comcast's Internet Explorer 8". Uhh, I'm sure Microsoft would like to know Comcast is taking all the credit for IE8. |

3 edits | reply to TD Nickell Try the mobile comcast.net designed for iPhone
The mobile comcast.net designed for the iPhone also works in a regular web browser on a laptop or desktop. It is much faster and easier to navigate for basic stuff. Try it, you'll like it. I came across it while setting up bookmarks for my Palm Pre smartphone.
»m.comcast.net/iphone/index.jsp#_mainMenu - works well in Firefox, but not in IE8
OR if you want a mobile link generically formatted for mobile, try this. But I like the iPhone format better: »m.comcast.net/index.jsp?classic - works better in IE8
P.S.>> I also set up my own web page full of web links designed for use on a mobile platform: »tkjunkmail.googlepages.com/mobilelinks

I know its not a Yahoo thing, was just being sarcastic and so on.
Not sure I really like this new one though.. especially the header.. its just so generic and plain. Yet another cookie-cutter site. -- Webmaster - Steve - - - - - - - - - - - - »www.1-gb.net »www.ppnstudio.com |
