Re: Free High-Speed Comcast Internet for Life - $597

My experiences with life long services, they have either folded in 2 months or they go out of business, or get bought by another company that doesn't honor the agreement, in a few years. So yeah be very leery of "for life" promises. The only one that worked was for Craftsman at Sears.

Obviously fake. One, I seriously doubt that Comcast would use craigslist to advertise on. Two, is it sounds to good to be true, then it is not.

Its not a scam.
They are hacked modems. Preferably the SB5100, SB5101 models.

In that case its hardly for life...

only until

A) You get caught
B) The modem breaks
C) Comcast makes changes rendering the modems useless.

Scam, not worth the money or trouble

For you maybe.
For most people, unless you would enjoy being banned from the network, doing some jail time and/or paying some hefty fines and fees.
