Does a PPPoE login always result in a new IP? If I enable bridge mode (or PPPoE passthrough) on the modem and enable PPPoE on my firewall will this help? Thanks

It depends....... if the PPPoE server is ending the session there is nothing you can do about that If the modem is ending the PPPoE session letting the router do the PPPoE may help
