I would like to setup ngWorldStats correctly on my machine. How can I do that. I already said no when it asks initially and I don't know how to set it again.
Help please.
Thanks. |

| I'm assuming you're talking about UT. If so, read on. If not, please ignore this post.
Hmmm... I can't think of a way of doing that in the UT menus, but there is a section of USER.INI you may be able to edit to get it working.
Open the USER.INI file in the System folder under the directory you installed UT (The default is C:\UnrealTournament) using Notepad or whatever plain-text editor you prefer. Do a Find and look for ngWorldSecret=. Enter your case-sensitive password after the equal sign so it looks similar to this:
ngWorldSecret=PaSsWoRd
Right below that line you just edited, add or edit this next line:
ngSecretSet=True
Save the file and start up UT. That, hopefully, will enable your ngStats in UT. Let us know if it worked or not.
EDIT: If these lines are not in your USER.INI file, then add them to the last part of the [Engine.PlayerPawn] section. [text was edited by author 2002-01-05 01:03:19] |

Thanks for letting us know, though. |
