Fishermen....

If you got a minute I could use a few suggestions.

On a slow or 1/2 day I may throw my gear in the rig and try a few spots along the Big Sur coast. There are a few good looking spots and I have pulled some kelp cod out but there has got to be an easier way.

Have any of you done much fishing off a coastline where it is a major battle not to get caught up in the kelp?

What have you used and what was your set-up?

I never done that sort of fishing, but here are a couple of articles on weedless rigs that may help.
