im switching to telus from shaw. i own the shaw modem so could i trade that in to get a free adsl modem or do they already give you the adsl modem for free with the 1 yr service agreement?
they mention the discounted rate for 6 months for new customers then it goes back to the normal rate. do they have any deals to extend the 6 month discounted rate to a longer period (say 1 yr) for customers switching from shaw?
also are there any installation fees, or other hidden fees that i need to know about? i used to have adsl in this house 3 or so years ago so they shoudln't need to install anything. |

| 1: you'll get a new modem/router all in one on the enhanced or extreme plans. 2: if you're getting the enhanced or extreme service and you're switching from shaw you may be eligible to extend it to 1 yr. Call and ask. 3: Who do you have for your phone service? If you have Telus there won't be any extra charges for the adsl installation. If you don't have Telus and you need a line connected/reconnected w/a technicians visit. There may be wiring charges of either 18.00/15 min (ab) or 19/15 min (bc). -- I may work for, but do not necessarily represent the views and beliefs of TELUS Communications. |
